Field Trip to Wildlife West

The girls had their first field trip today, to Wildlife West, which is a zoo of native, non-releasable animals. We had been there once before last summer for a chuckwagon dinner and cowboy music show. This time it was just a guided tour of the animals. We saw coyotes, wolves, a bobcat, mountain lions, a raccoon, foxes, javalina (a hairy pig) and a bear. We had a lot of fun, even though it was 45 degrees with wind gusts up to 50 mph. Jack enjoyed it as well, although he couldn't see too well. When we left, they said they would like to go back again.
