Special Shapes Mass Ascention 2009

We went to the Balloon Fiesta on Thursday, it was great! We picked up Julia at 5:45 a.m., it was still dark out! We did the park and ride and didn't have to wait at all for a bus. The weather was mild and everything went smoothly. It seemed to us that it was not very well attended. Not sure if people are worried about the flu, or the economy is preventing them from coming out, but it was definitely less crowded than it has been in previous years.
We had such a great time but this whole week has been sad for me. My grandma was visiting us this time last year, I miss her a lot. I'm glad that we have memories of such a fun time together before she passed away.

We really put the new Sit-N-Stand stroller to the test. All three kids coiuld ride together, but is was a bit tough to push, especially on the grass. Good thing Nathan was there!
