Jack loves sister's clothes

Jack's new fun thing is to get into sister's bottom drawer, which happens to hold her p.j.s and panties. He likes to pull them out and put them away, and snuggle them.

AnneMarie's Science Experiment

AnneMarie learned about how flowers drink water through their stems in our experiment. We bought white carnations and put them in cups with different colored water, colored with food coloring. It was a great experiment because we saw the first results within two hours. She loved checking on her flowers every day. But they got pretty scruffy, so we took a picture before we threw them out tonight.

Haircuts - Before & After!

Jack was in desperate need of a haircut, as you can see in this first photo. We went to Mop Tops at the mall, where you can watch TV while you get your haircut and pick out a toy and candy when you're done. AnneMarie watched Jack get his haircut and decided she would like one too. After they trimmed a couple of inches off, they gave her a "princess braid", two little braids at the front that are actually attached together at the base of her neck. She even got her hair blowdried. I think they both look great! 

 

The Aquarium

AnneMarie wanted to go to the zoo today, but it was too cold out, so we went to the aquarium instead. Jack really loved it. AnneMarie's favorite parts were "the seels (eels), sharks and turtle." Jack learned to say "fi", the first half of fish.
