Happy Halloween!

These two little Carebears didn't feel like posing for the camera tonight, but they had a great time trick-or-treating and got quite a bit of loot! Harmony Bear (the purple one) ate a "body parts" gummy candy before bed, and Champ Bear (the blue one) had a box of raisins. He also demolished a Butterfinger bar by chewing through the wrapper while riding in the car. Nathan took the kids around to the homes of a few friends, and they also did a bit of neighborhood trick-or-treating.

Sunday Morning at the Pumpkin Patch

Nathan preached the Sunday morning service at the pumpkin patch last week. Then we stayed and did some of the activities. It was a fun time and the weather was perfect.

Papa, Mason and Noah hanging out on a hay bale.

Jack loves the rope maze - he could play in there all day.

Pumpkin Patch - KidZone Trip

The girls' preschool had a field trip to McCall's Pumpkin Patch. It is about an hour east of Albuquerque, and it is owned and run by some friends of ours from church. The girls are wearing their bright green KidZone shirts (but Julia has on a lavendar jacket in some pics). It was a nice sunny day, not too cold, but a little windy at times. Everyone got a pumpkin, plus we did lots of fun activities.

One the hayride out to the pumpkin patch ... Jack HATED every minute of the hayride. He wriggled and screamed most of the way to the pumpkins and back.

It's a little breezy out here!

Is it Julia ... or Pumpkinhead?

Taking the hayride back from the patch ... I told them they had to choose pumpkins they were able to carry themselves, and they did a great job!

Feeding & petting the goats.

Jack really liked this fence post maze, he wandered around in there for quite awhile, I had to chase him out.

They have lots of these little cutouts for funny pictures, which the girls really got a kick out of. Jack was too short to poke his head through.

Julia made it to the top of the hay mountain. AnneMarie almost made it, but she decided to come down and try again from a different angle, then she ran out of time. Jack quickly lost interest when he realized he couldn't make it up the first bale of hay.
