Playing in the backyard before dinner this evening ... it was quite cold, but they didn't seem to notice. AnneMarie wanted to play with her "Tink sunbrella." When Jack saw it, he said "I want rain!" meaning, he wants an umbrella of his own.

Here is AnneMarie showing off some the tissue paper "cupcakes" she made. The girls made this project last week at preschool, I thought it was so cute and easy! We made 2 dozen more for the Lovely Family Project at church. The kids make items to contribute to baskets that we will assemble and deliver to shut-ins from our congregation tonight.

Snow Day in the Backyard

We had a lot of snow last Monday night. School was cancelled on Tuesday (Julia's birthday), so instead we bundled up and played outside. We haven't had many chances to wear our snow gear so it was a lot of fun!
