Sick Day

Jack was throwing up all night last night so we stayed home from church this morning. This morning he has kept down liquids (2 Tbsp. at a time) and about a 1/4 cup of applesauce.
AnneMarie was fine in the night, but is now having tummy troubles of her own. I set her up on the pull-out sofa in the living room to watch "Tom & Jerry Tales" while Jack was playing in the spare room.

When I came back to check on Jack about 3 minutes later, this is what I found ...

Molly is watching over him. The bed is mostly bare because the sheet and blanket are in the wash.

He looks so sweet and peaceful here, but what you can't tell is that he really STINKS. I don't have the heart to wake him up to change his diaper.

Backyard Egg Hunt

We had an egg hunt in the backyard with cousins Garrett, Mason and Noah after Easter lunch. The kids found lots of candy, stickers and even some money! Jack was not too interested (he stopped after 2 eggs), but everyone else filled their baskets.

A Windy Egg Hunt!

Our church had an egg hunt today, as you can see in some of the photos, it was very windy! They all enjoyed it very much. Jack was hunting in the 3 and under section, the girls were with age 4 through kindergarten. There were SO many eggs, each child could have had up to 3 dozen. Julia stopped when her basket just couldn't hold any more. Since she had the smallest basket of the the three, that seemed like a good time to stop the other kids as well. Jack ate two chocolates and fell asleep on the way home. The girls each picked one egg to eat and spent the rest of the ride opening the other eggs to see what they got.
