AnneMarie lost a tooth!

AnneMarie's first tooth fell out today! It has been loose for quite a while, and the permanent tooth is really coming in already. She pulled it out herself. The only problem was she immediately dropped it in my bedroom, which has light colored shag carpet. It took us about 10 minutes to find that tiny little tooth! She is quite excited about the tooth fairy. We read a book about a little rabbit that loses her first tooth, and the tooth fairy leaves her a dime (it is a rather old book). So AnneMarie is really hoping for a quarter (or "the 25 one" as she called it). I told her she might get a little bit more than that. ;)

The Zoo

We went to the zoo on election day since AnneMarie had the day off from school. It was beautiful weather and all the animals were out.

The whole time we were there we heard "Take my picture" over and over again. AnneMarie is quite the little model these days.

Kelly & Jeremy's Wedding

My sister Kelly got married on November 2nd. It was a very small wedding outdoors at a bed & breakfast. We stayed there for the reception and they even stayed the night there. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Julia was so excited for her mom and dad to get married. It was really a wonderful day.

The girls are really into "posing" lately ... especially AnneMarie. It is impossible to get a normal picture of her.

The cake was spice cake with Bavarian cream filling ... really good!

Annual Halloween Party!

On November 1st we had our 6th Annual Halloween Party. It was a blast! Of course, I didn't get as many pictures as I should have. I somehow missed most of the adult costumes. But here are the kids.

Garrett was a kid who got eaten by an evil pumpkin, if I remember correctly.

Noah was the Incredible Hulk and Lily was Darth Vader.

AnneMarie was a pink poodle named Sassafras.

Julia as a nice witch. She was very clear about this, as she did not want to scare any of the younger children.
